My love affair with the beauty industry began at just 12 years old when my grandmother would send me Seventeen and Cosmopolitan magazines to read. I was captivated by everything! The makeup, the hairstyles, the beauty products, and the stories women shared. I soaked up every tip, trick, and product recommendation, and my fascination with beauty only grew throughout my teenage years.

By high school, I had become the girl everyone came to for braids, curled hair, strip lashes, and makeup. I spent countless hours backstage in theatre, helping bring characters to life through hair and makeup, one production after another. While creating beautiful looks came naturally to me, what truly surprised me was feeling someone light up with confidence after I finished. In those moments, I realized I had found exactly where I was meant to be.

In 2010, I graduated from beauty school and eagerly accepted any opportunity that would help me grow and gain experience. I was determined to learn, refine my craft, and build my career. Before long, I found my home at Studio 5 Glam Co., where I spent the next 15 years developing my artistry, growing my clientele, and becoming the stylist I had always dreamed of being.

Studio 5 Glam Co. shaped not only my career but also who I am as an artist. It became so much more than a workplace... it truly became home. Closing that chapter was incredibly bittersweet, but it also marked the beginning of an exciting new one, built on the experience, passion, and relationships that have defined my journey.

Rooted & Wild was built from love, courage, and a little bit of fate. The bee in my brand is a nod to my forever person—my biggest supporter and the one who inspired me to take this leap. We somehow both took a chance and matched at exactly the right time. Thanks, Bumble.

I'm a line dancing, dive bar loving, farmers market wandering, boutique shopping, hotel stay booking, cocktail sipping kind of girl. I love fine dining just as much as I love Subway.... because balance.

I'm rooted in my faith, my love for empowering beauty, and the incredible people who have loved, supported, and believed in me through every season of my life.

I'm wild for taking chances, laughing (even when it's probably inappropriate), choosing loyalty over fear, being unapologetically myself, and surviving motherhood with a healthy caffeine addiction.

Around here, you'll find beautiful hair, genuine conversation, a lot of laughter, and probably a Sugar Free Redbull or an iced coffee nearby. My chair is a place where you can simply be yourself.
